Light and Happy, Laughter and Fun

We really had a lot of fun, talking and sharing our ideas, jokes, and memories!

One friend came with her hair in pony tails and her face painted with her grandnieces’ makeup in the shapes of flowers and leaves! She was decked out in rings from the 50s and her Mother in Law’s earrings from the 40s.

Another friend joined us from her bed even though she was under the weather and she brought her laughter and generously shared it with us.

Another of our friends brought stories of her interests and of her son and daughter. She is working on a project for the Red Knights to honor the 343 firefighters who died in 911. She also told of a motorcycle group called the Rumbling Thunder!

Here are some jokes we shared today …

Which month can’t make a decision?
Maybe

Can February March?
No, but April May!

What flowers grow on faces?
Tulips (Two-lips)!

Why are trees very forgiving?
Because in the Fall they “Let It Go” and in the Spring they “turn over a new leaf”.

Why is the letter A like a flower?
A bee (B) comes after it

What did the tree say to spring?
What a re-leaf.

What was the name of the girl with a frog sitting on her head?
Lily.

Can bees fly in the rain?
Only when they wear their yellow jackets.

We had many laughs and good conversation. All are welcome and we hope you can join our Our Hour Zoom Meeting on May 11th … and every second Tuesday!

“April hath put a spirit of youth in everything. (Sonnet XCVIII)”
