An important piece of the food puzzle, during these challenging times.

The Lyme Food Pantry was launched with a generous donation to the CCL Jenks Fund, for community members who could use a hand. The pantry is currently stocked at the Lyme School.

  • Pantry items include supplemental non-perishable foods, like pasta and sauce; canned tuna, chicken, soups, vegetables and beans; mac & cheese, cereal, applesauce, and some snacks.
  • Selected perishable items are delivered on Tuesdays by the generous non-profit Willing Hands. These items will be available until from 1pm until they are gone.
  • Pre-order for yourself or refer someone you know at 603-795-0603 or help@cclyme.org.    We will fill your orders with what we have available. You may request or decline certain items.
  • Pick-up Tuesdays at 1pm and Thursdays at 3pm, or by appointment
  • Please come prepared with a mask and clean hands. CCL volunteers will staff the food pantry, wearing masks and gloves while working there, following safe practices. We ask the public to do the same. The food pantry is not open for “shopping”.
  • Delivery available. Just let us know when you contact us.

Are meals a bit of a challenge for you or someone you know, but the Food Pantry isn’t the right answer?

If you have been busy, stressed, or strapped for cash, we’d love to help.

  • Home-made meals, prepared by Lyme cooks, may provide some relief. A joint effort between the Lyme Congregational Church Health Ministry’s Meals for Neighbors program and CCL, we can provide single meals or serve as a bridge for a couple of particularly challenging weeks.
  • Meals on Wheels, a service of the Grafton County Senior Citizens Council, provides five home-delivered meals a week to anyone over 60 who could use the help.
  • Lyme Country Store gift cards are available, thanks the The Utility Club of Lyme and the CCL Jenks Fund.
  • Local restaurant gift cards or deliveries. Through the Jenks Fund, we can offer a meal at a local restaurant; and if you just need a delivery, volunteers can do the pick-up for you, with some advance notice.
  • Grocery shopping. Stay safe at home, give us your list, and CCL volunteers will safely shop and deliver your groceries to you.
  • You name it. If you have something else in mind, let us know how we can help.

Would you like to help?

  • We welcome financial donations for the Lyme Food Pantry. Out of an abundance of caution, we are not accepting Food Pantry stock from the general public.
Contribute online at cclyme.org/donate or mail a check to CommunityCare of Lyme, PO Box 127, Lyme, NH 03768. Please add a memo: Food Pantry.
  • We welcome donations of prepared meals that can be frozen and stored for distribution. Or, you could be on-call to prepare meals for neighbors in a pinch.
If you would like to cook or bake, please email Kathy Sherrieb, and she will review the food safety protocols for preparation. She will also share some delicious recipes! Thank you.
