Lyme Town Band Helps Celebrate the Connecticut River

The Lyme Town Band entertained paddlers and those along the banks during the Orford-to-Lyme portion of the Source to the Sea Jump in Journey, organized by the Connecticut River Conservancy. The Conservancy is dedicated to the protection and restoration of the Connecticut River — New England’s longest. The 400-mile, two-week river paddling adventure began at the Connecticut’s source in Pittsburgh, New Hampshire, and ends where the river flows into Long Island Sound.

NHPR is following the Source to the Sea and sent a crew to film a segment that included the band.
