As we enter school season, the Lyme Food Pantry is committed to continuing our services.
However, we will be reducing our hours to once per week – we will continue the hours on Tuesday – 1:00 pm, to coincide with our Willing Hands’ Farmer’s Market at the school cafeteria entrance.
Our services will continue as usual on Tuesdays:
- order through 795-2831 for non-perishable goods
- pick up an order at 1:00 pm when you come for the outdoor market
- delivered by our volunteers to your door or porch (not inside)
This does not affect the quality of our services; however, the school parking lot will be full, and navigating our space may be more challenging. Our volunteers ask that you wait until 1pm so that we can set up the produce outside – we like to make it look luscious for our customers. We also will have signage to remind customers about the process.
And as usual, we are a masked service so we ask that you do the same. We will have signage for flow, so that we can practice the ‘safe six’ when shopping.
