Meet Mae Louise Fowler Nicoli & six sisters
The Poorwoods includes stories of the eight Fowler sisters, who lived on Whipple Hill in Lyme during the 1930’s -1950’s. It is an entertaining mix of memories of colorful friends, relatives, and neighbors growing up in the backwoods of Lyme, NH.
When the Fowler sisters discussed the book at the Lyme Library, the room was overflowing. If you missed it then — or just want to hear these inspiring women again, join us at the Orford Social Library!
