Running through April, we’ll be presenting a Documentary Film Series: Our World, Our Health.
Lots more to come, but mark the 8 Thursdays between February 27th and April 9th on your calendar.
Our first film will be Anthropocene: The Human Epoch (2018): “From concrete seawalls in China that now cover 60% of the mainland coast, to the biggest terrestrial machines ever built in Germany, to psychedelic potash mines in Russia’s Ural Mountains, to metal festivals in the closed city of Norilsk, to the devastated Great Barrier Reef in Australia and massive marble quarries in Carrara, the filmmakers have traversed the globe using state of the art camera techniques to document the evidence and experience of human planetary domination” (Kanopy.com).
We’ll be joined by experts and representatives of several Lyme organizations throughout this series. We hope each film will serve as a conversation-opener among us, to be continued throughout the year.
More details to come!
