Getting ready for winter!
We prepare our homes for winter, but we do not sleep during the magical season. Bears hibernate. Did you know that other animals hibernate as well? Listen to some stories about bears and other animals that hibernate and then do an art project.

Supplies needed for the projects:
  • Air-dry clay to make ahead of time. You will need 2 cups baking soda and 1 cup cornstarch. Make this in advance to be certain your child or children will have enough to make a cave and even a little bear. Recipe link.
  • Paper [Plain, construction (black, brown, gray and other colors if you like), or a brown paper bag)
  • Scissors
  • Crayons, markers, colored pencils
  • Glue or glue stick
