On February 25th, the Tri-State Learning Collaborative on Aging will host a webinar on the 2020 Census.  Hear from Census Partnership Specialists what information will – and won’t – be asked and how the information is used to increase opportunities for us all to have a good life, access to needed health care and services we need to live our best lives.

In addition, the Census Partnership Specialists will be available to answer any questions you may have.  This is a very important opportunity for direct care workers from many organizations across Northern New England, as they are vital advocates in spreading this information to all.

This is the first year that people will have the opportunity to fill the Census in on-line.  We will discuss safety and fraud prevention and how we can all do our part to make sure everyone is counted.   People who live in rural areas and who are either very old or very young are at the most risk for not being counted.  An accurate count has funding ramifications into the next decade.  Please help us to spread the word about the 2020 Census and the importance of responding for all.

You can learn more and register for the “Making Census 2020 Count in Your Community” webinar here: https://agefriendly.community/2020/01/making_census_2020_count/

The webinar is also on the Tri-State Learning Collaborative Facebook page as a shareable event here: https://www.facebook.com/events/2613967265516004/

We greatly thank you for your support.  If you should have any questions or would like to further discuss opportunities to spread the word on the 2020 Census, please email us anytime.
