Thanks to our fabulous organizing team, Sue Hanlon, Kathy McGowan, Lynn McRae, and Shelby Wood, we’re back with Lyme’s Day of Service and Green Up Day! In 2020, our spring “Days and Days of Service”, addressed early in the pandemic mitigation efforts, and we missed the energy of volunteers helping out across town on one day. This year, we’ll be organizing service projects and road clean-up on the traditional first Saturday in May and following current Covid safety protocols. We won’t be gathering around the school cafeteria breakfast table or in big groups, but we will feel the spirit of neighbors!
We are seeking outdoor projects at neighbors’ homes to be completed by volunteers. Do you or someone you know have an outside project that could use some generous helping hands? Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
We’ll be seeking volunteers to complete outdoor projects (if large, broken into 2-hour slots), and also to clean-up roadsides in Lyme. Are you interested in helping?
By April 19th, we’ll share more information and sign-up forms for both home projects and road clean-up. In the meantime, if you have questions or suggestions, email email@example.com or call 802-468-7776.
