This annual walk raises money for Church World Service (CWS) to aid in hunger relief services both here in the Upper Valley and beyond.
Whether you walk, run, ride a bicycle, or ride a horse, we hope you can join us in raising awareness and funds to end world hunger.
For traditionalists, the walk will start from the Common at 11am and continue south on Route #10 to Preston Road and up the hill to the Murphys for snacks and then back to town by way of Preston Road, Washburn Hill Road and Market Street.
But this year you can pick your time and place for walking, jogging, biking, horse back riding, canoeing, or however you get from one place to another.
If you want to enjoy refreshments, you need to locomote on Sunday October 4th, and stop at the Friendship Tree at 40 Preston Road between noon and 4pm. Donations to Church World Service can be dropped off at the refreshment table or sent to The Lyme Congregational Church. (See below).
