Lyme Christmas Pageant

The pageant will be presented Saturday, December 14th at 7:30pm and Sunday, December 15th at 4:30pm.

There is a dress rehearsal on Friday, December 13th at 7pm.

The Lyme Christmas Pageant has been an annual tradition since 1948, when young mothers from the Utility Club decided to put together a program that would be an alternative to the over-commercialization of Christmas.  Seventy-one years later we are probably still dealing with the same issues (as well as a few new ones…), and we are still celebrating the birth of Jesus by gathering as a community to sing, dance, act, and reflect upon those events so many centuries ago.  We hope that you will become a part of this year’s celebration.

There is no admission charge for the Pageant, but donations are accepted at the door to help offset the expenses.  Flash photography is not allowed during the two performances, but you are welcome to take photos at the 7pm dress rehearsal on Friday December 13th.  If you are comfortable walking in wintery conditions, we ask that you consider off-street parking farther away from the church building in order to leave the closer spaces for those who may have mobility issues.
