Although there is no “in person” Little Town Meeting (LTM) this year, the Select Board and Town Moderator will host a Virtual LTM, via Zoom phone technology, on Tuesday,

March 2nd at 7:00 pm to discuss Article 1 and Article 3 of the Town Warrant (details below).

Voting on Articles 1, 2 and 3 will be by official ballot on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 11 am – 7 pm at the Lyme School Gym.

You may also vote by absentee ballot. Please contact the Town Clerk’s office (795-2535 or patty@lymenh.gov).

 

Virtual Little Town Meeting will focus on two items on the Town Warrant:

Article 1, candidates for office.  Candidates will be given an opportunity to introduce themselves and express their interest in and qualifications for their selected position.  Candidates also can post a statement on the Town of Lyme website, www.lymenh.gov .

AND

Article 3, combine the office of Town Clerk and Tax Collector. The article will be introduced by the Select Board, followed by a discussion period. Voting on this article will also be by official ballot on March 9th.  The full text of Article 3 can be found here: www.lymenh.gov

Voting on Article 2, the proposed zoning amendment, also will be by official ballot voting on March 9th.  This proposal has been discussed previously at several separate Planning Board meetings and during a public hearing.  The Planning Board will be holding an additional Q & A forum on the proposed zoning amendment this Thursday, February 25, at 7:00 pm via Zoom. We will NOT discuss Article 2 during the virtual LTM.
