Community Calendar
A parade begins at Rivendell Middle School in Orford at 11 a.m. and proceeds across the bridge to Route 5 in Fairlee (theme: “100 Years of Ripley’s Believe It or Not”). The parade will be followed by a concert, flag-raising and chicken barbecue on the Fairlee green at noon. Festivities conclude with a fireworks display over Lake Morey at dusk. Rain or shine.
