Fridays from 11 – 11:30am at the South Side of the Fairlee Town Hall

Fresh produce, dairy, sometimes breads and meat, provided by Willing Hands and distributed by volunteers from HELP@fairleevt.org, will be available free to anyone in the Upper Valley experiencing food insecurity during the pandemic. Spring is here, so Willing Hands is once again able to offer a wide variety of beautiful, locally grown, often organic produce. One box or bag per household, two households per vehicle. If picking up for more than two households, please request in advance from Help@fairleevt.org by Thursday evening or by ordering at pick-up the previous week.

Local eggs and non-perishable items donated to the Orford-Fairlee Food Shelf by neighbors, and assorted toiletries collected by the Cohase Rotary Club will be available this week as well.  Fairlee and Orford residents: for a $25 gift card to Wing’s or Hannaford’s offered by Fairlee-Orford Food Shelf contact Georgette (townclerk@fairleevt.org or 802-333-4363).

Free meals made by professional chefs and supported by the “Everyone Eats” program will also be available. THIS WEEK: final time from the LAKE MOREY RESORT. Upper Valley Everyone Eats pays local restaurants $10 per meal to help keep them afloat during the pandemic while providing meals for people in the community. Last week we had meals from the Lake Morey Resort. No word yet on this week, but stay tuned.
