Family Heart 2 Heart Workshop
Here are some tips to handle emergencies and are commonly shared:
– when thunder roars, go indoors.
– when earth shakes, drop, cover, and hold on
– when on fire, stop, Drop, and roll
If you’ve already shared these with your children, then they’re better prepared for such situations. Chances are, they may never need them. Maybe they’re now grown with children of their own, and are able pass on this wisdom.
How about the situation when you’re in an accident and are unable to communicate? What if you’re in a coma and not breathing well and the doctors ask what should be done to you? Do your kids and loved ones know what to do? What if you unfortunately succumb, would they know how to deal with the aftermath?
Life is unpredictable. The Family Heart 2 Heart workshop is an opportunity to start the conversation. It’s free and open to the public.
Please bring potluck food to share and a pen.
