Muskeg Music is thrilled to sponsor a New Year’s Eve Contradance at Tracy Hall, Norwich, VT
(200 Main Street, we enter through the back doors by the White Church)
Come on out for some new-fashioned fun – a chance to be active, and meet and mingle with your friends and neighbors.
It’s social dancing. It’s not about “costumes”, or “being precise and correct” – It’s about HAVING FUN~!!!!
Tuesday, Dec. 31st: 8:00 pm – LIVE MUSIC with Red Dog Riley (all the way from western Vermont)
7:45 – Walk-through for new dancers – caller Nils Fredland will introduce you to the simple, easy, dance figures.
Can you count to four?
Can you tell your left from your right?You’ve met the minimum requirements!!!
No experience necessary. Beginners and singles always welcome. All dances taught, then called.
Dress comfortably in layers (for changing activity levels) and bring:
- clean shoes for the dance floor
- a water bottle
- a potluck snack for the break
Festive attire encouraged
We’ll sing at midnight, and dance into the New Year…
