In the Upper Valley, we’re holding a CLOSE THE CAMPS NOW/Lights For Liberty Rally and Fundraiser on
FRIDAY, JULY 12, on the DARTMOUTH GREEN at 7pm:
1. Hear from students and other young people whose families live in fear of being arrested, incarcerated and deported by ICE
2. Hear from activists who’ve just visited the Homestead, FL, child detention camp
3. Help fund legal help for children in ICE detention centers across the U.S. to get them released
4. Help refugees right here in VT and NH to post bail so they can be released from incarceration at the ICE detention center in Dover, NH.
It will take everything we have, as individuals and as a community, to shut down these horrific child prisons and providing essential, immediate legal and human assistance to these children and to VT/NH farmworkers.
