Come see Lyme’s last one-room schoolhouse, which hasn’t changed much since its doors were closed in 1959.
The old desks with attached chairs, slate blackboards and many schoolbooks from the 16 schoolhouses are displayed, along with information about those schools and schooling in Lyme for its first 250 years.
Child-friendly, but best for ages 5 and up.
New lighting, but as ever, NO PLUMBING!
