On Thursday, June 9 at 12:30 pm, COVER’s Executive Director, Helen Hong, and former Executive Director, Bill Neukomm, will be presenting on home safety and access (such as with accessibility ramps, trip hazards and grab bars).

COVER is a non-profit organization with four carpenters on staff who lead teams of volunteers to build ramps and roofs for homeowners who are income-qualified. Most of COVER’s homeowners are elderly and/or living with disabilities. In addition to ramps and roofs, COVER completes other urgent home repairs, such as repairing floors and installing grab bars, and also offers weatherization services in the winter months. Store sales and financial donations help COVER to offer its service at little to no charge to homeowners in need.
