Great recommendations for summer reading in 90 seconds or less

The Book Jam’s popular Pages in the Pub is going virtual for the first time ever on Thursday, May 28th at 7 pm in support of Upper Valley Strong.
Our presenters are:
  • Michele Campbell, Author of A Stranger on the Beach
  • Lyme neighbor KJ Dell’Antonia, Author of The Chicken Sisters
  • Stephen Kiernan, Author of Universe of Two
  • Sarah Stewart Taylor, Author of The Mountains Wild
  • Lisa Christie, not-an-author, but reviewing books by each of the above authors
The event will be enhanced by:
  • support from superb librarian Lucinda Walker in the chat room helping us find books,
  • tech support from the savvy Natasha Leskiw,
  • Norwich’s award winning audio-book narrator Danielle Cohen as our emcee, and
  • the Norwich Bookstore helping you get the recommended books in your hands, and generously donating a portion of sales to Upper Valley Strong.
Bring your own beverage (drawback of going virtual is we can’t supply this aspect of our previous Pages in the Pub events) and leave with a list of amazing books to read this summer, a great feeling from supporting our fabulous local indie bookstore – The Norwich Bookstore, as well as Upper Valley Strong.
The event is free. Please pre-register by emailing pages.in.the.pub@gmail.com
