A Resource for Financial Planning Week

American Savings Education Council

Shared 10/9/24

In honor of Financial Planning Week, we wanted to share a resource that offers a wealth of information,  the American Savings Education Council. The organizational mission is:

The American Savings Education Council’s (ASEC) mission is to promote cross-sector collaboration to eliminate barriers and pave the way towards a more financially secure future for all.

We realize this goal through our collective efforts to convene, collaborate, and educate. ASEC has the power to make a substantial and lasting impact on the financial well-being of Americans. (asec.org)

This website offers a variety of resources to help with things like finding savings resources and helpful interactive tools. Each section is broken down by items you might want to incorporate in your finances. For example, the interactive tool section can be explored by: Life Insurance & Health; Retirement: Credit, Debt, Loans, etc. You can also navigate the savings resource stage by goals, lifestage, circumstance, and by partner. With so many resources, and different ways to find relevant information specific to your needs, this resource may be a helpful one to visit as you asses your financial wellness. (There’s even a Financial Literacy Assessment section too, if you need help understanding your financial wellness!)
