A group of friends and family of Jeff Valence have been planning a celebration to recognize his 16 years of leadership in our school and our community.
As many Lymies know, one of Jeff’s proudest contributions during his time at the Lyme School was creating Lyme School values with the students – values that live on today (and can be revised and expanded upon!) with the help of Lyme School students, faculty, and staff.
To highlight Jeff’s contribution and these values, our group is working to install a number of boulders engraved with these values for kids to climb on at the Lyme School playground. Please mark your calendar for a groundbreaking celebration and an Ice Cream Social on Saturday, June 4th at 3pm at the Lyme School. Our hope is to complete the boulder project by the time school opens in August.
