2020 Local Flu Vaccine Clinics Through October
A Note from the Lyme Parish Nurses:
Speak with your Primary Care Physician regarding the specific recommendations they may have for you as to which vaccine will be best. There are different types of vaccines available based on your age and/or medical history. More general information is available on the CDC website: https://www.cdc.gov/
As of 9/17/2020, all the pharmacy locations have the high dose quadrivalent specific vaccine which is recommended for those 65 years and older. We encourage you to go obtain your flu vaccine as soon as possible! This year it is exceptionally important because flu symptoms and COVID-19 symptoms can be similar. If you may have a pharmacy other than those listed just give them a call as to their details.
