U.S. Economic Discussion

 

Emily Blanchard of Lyme, Economist and Associate Professor at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, will be speaking at the Converse Free Library 7 PM – 8:30PM on February 26th! a

Her presentation will highlight recent trends in the United States economy and spotlight specific policy issues that are likely to have a significant bearing on future economic performance.  Discussion will be grounded in data and elevated by sharing context and analysis of key economic indicators, including GDP, employment, inflation, and interest rates.  Questions and earnest engagement in civic discussion are encouraged. Emily is offering her presentation on behalf of the National Economic Education Delegation (NEED), a non-profit, non-partisan organization founded to promote understanding of economic policy in the United States.
