Sunday evening December 16th at 6:00 pm in the Baptist Church
The program includes singing a few carols, reflecting on the “First Christmas” and welcoming a very special visit from Santa Claus. This program was created many years ago in an effort to reach out to children birth through 5th grade living in the greater Lyme Center area (which at the time was quite isolated). This includes Dorchester Road east of Tannery Falls, the numerous side roads off Franklin, Acorn, Flint and Baker Hill Road such as Hardscrabble Lane, Pout Pond Lane, Canaan Ledge Lane, Isaac Perkins Road and Goose Pond Road from 4-corners east and other smaller side roads.
The tradition continues, and as Santa calls out each name, it’s an invitation for the child to venture up to say hello and receive a gift. (They’ll get the gift regardless if they choose to venture up!)
This is a great opportunity to participate in a wonderful Lyme Center holiday tradition, visit with neighbors and be enchanted with the excitement of children vs. Santa. Plus, there’s an awesome selection of holiday cookies and punch for our guests.
