The Converse Free Library intend to celebrate Read Across America Week 2019 with our traditional Find the Cat in the Hat’s Hat game around town (for prizes of school supplies and books) and other school-related activities. Keep an eye out for eager young readers spying around Lyme’s public places for the iconic red-and-white striped hats (just two-dimensional paper representations, not actual hats!). The celebration will culminate on Friday, March 1, with a celebration at the school.
