Our “First Saturdays” continue with Don and Julia Balch Elder!
(Thanks to Alfred Balch and Jimmy Fields for their participation in Jan. and Feb.)
Julia and Don Elder will be in the Historians’ parlor from 11:00- noon this Saturday, March 2.
Julia grew up in “North Lyme,” which was almost a separate community because of the connection to North Thetford via the now-gone bridge.  Don grew up on Acorn Hill.  Did you catch them on their respective fathers’ tractors in the Independence Day Parade?  Come hear about life in and about Lyme, farming, and just about anything else about our little town from two folks who continue to  contribute much to our life here.
We’ll crank up the heat and serve hot cocoa, too.  Bask in the sunshine of our parlor overlooking the Common!
PLUS, the museum will be open, and there are some great exhibits!
